At Equipona, we develop automated feeding systems for horses that can be integrated into both new and existing stables. This allows horses to receive multiple smaller meals throughout the day and night, while owners benefit from less repetitive work and greater freedom.
Everything we do starts with one goal: supporting the well-being and performance of horses through smart, thoughtful feeding. What began as an observation during pressure point treatments grew into a mission to help owners look at feeding differently: not simply as a daily necessity, but as an important foundation for health and well-being. Today, our systems combine simplicity and precision to tailor feeding as closely as possible to the individual needs of each horse.
How it started...
Equipona was founded in 2010 by Peter Vanherck, driven by a deep-seated passion for horses and their welfare. During numerous pressure point treatments, he observed how often nutrition was at the root of physical issues. These insights marked the beginning of a quest for better, smarter feeding methods. What started as a modest idea has grown into a business that today supports riders and horses across Europe. With one constant: the belief that thoughtful feeding in small and frequent portions makes all the difference.
