PowerRaufe (2023)

Last year, my daughter moved to Texel, and my horse developed laminitis. This became a major challenge. On weekends, we like to visit Texel, but my horse cannot have unlimited hay due to her condition. Providing two days’ worth of hay in bins or nets at once was not an option, and calling for help several times a day was not something I was keen on.

That’s when I found the PowerRaufe from Equipona online. The perfect solution! I use it for 1 horse and 1 pony. I have the half-round model. I fill it on Friday morning, and by the time I return on Sunday afternoon, there’s still plenty left. I set it to open for half an hour every hour; that seems a lot, but once the horses realized it opens regularly and there’s food available 24/7, they started eating much less and often skip a turn.

For us, the PowerRaufe has truly been a golden investment! Very happy with it.

In 2018, I purchased a PortionsRaufe for my horses. The Raufe provides both my horses and me with great convenience and reduces the stress surrounding hay feeding. Filling the Raufe is easy and involves much less work than filling hay nets or hay boxes.
